GM Hydro-gel is a potassium-based cross-linking hydrogel polymer that can potentially influence the permeability, density, structure, texture, evaporation and rate of water infiltration in soil.
GM Hydro-gel particularly reduces irrigation frequency and the tendency to compaction, it stops soil denudation and water runoff and increases microbial activity. In arid areas, the use of GM Hydro-gel in sandy soils (macroporous medium) increases water retention capacity and significantly improves plant quality. It slowly releases this absorbed water to the plants when needed.
FEATURES AND BENEFITS
Increases the water retention capacity of the soil, thereby reducing irrigation frequency Limits the loss of water and nutrients through soil leaching Reduces the evaporation of water from the soil Improves the physical properties of soil by improving microbial action Improves plant growth by providing water and nutrients in a stable manner to the root zone of plants Reduces the tendency for compaction Reduces erosion and water runoff Improves the performance of plants especially in arid areas Aid for long-term protection of the environment against drought and groundwater contamination Can be dry mixed with fertilizer preparations, reduces NPK leaching and limits use
